A brief history of honors awarded to the Barilla Group

The term “honor” derives from the Latin word “honorificentia” – literally “a reason for honoring”, and reflects the successes that the Company achieved and continues to achieve overall the various fields of its business activity. The Barilla Historical Archive keeps over 450 awards of honor that the Company obtained in the course of time: diplomas, plaques, trophies, medals…the first ones date back to the beginning of the Twentieth century and can be grouped by major themes: from merit in work field to world fair expos; from communication to products, to Company reputation.
