Sceneggiatura

Inside his grandfather’s home, Giorgio Albertazzi is looking at the album of photographs collected with dedication and passion by the elderly gentleman. This time he presents Sarah Bernhardt (1844-1923), the great actress that fascinated even Marcel Proust and was considered on the same level as Eleonora Duse. Albertazzi shows a fragment of footage of her playing in “The lady of Camellias” by Dumas the son. There was never a more touching performance: only later was it made known that Bernhardt was suffering during the show because she had fallen and had broken a knee. Her enemies caught that as an occasion to criticize her. The final advertisement lines of the campaign follow.
