Cfr. BAR I Ebb 2003/8.
A cult television campaign, it lasted seven years (and then was re-adapted and elaborated through time up until our days), in which an unforgettable music theme composed by Greek musician Vangelis (Evangelos Odyssey Papathanassiou, 1943-), arranged in different styles, accompanies the stories of families and affective relationships, in the total absence of dialogues except for the famous ending payoff line “Where there’s Barilla there’s home”, that makes the pasta the canter of family life and its symbol, as likewise of good tradition and of the best sentiments.

Abstract: A young father is packing his travel bag while his daughter reads a book. It is lunch time and the mother has cooked Barilla Fusilli pasta and calls everybody to the table. When the meal is over, the family leaves in a car to bring the father to the airport. During the trip the little girl shows her brother a raw piece of Fusilli and, after giving him a glance of complicity, she slips it in the jacket pocket of the father who is driving and does not realize it. The father, who is unaware, receives a nice surprise when, all alone and sad in his hotel room, finds the piece of Fusilli in his pocket, as this reminds him of the love of his family far away.
