Renzo Marignano travels through Italy in search of local festivals and folklore, making a reference to Mario Soldati on television in “Journey through the Po River Valley”. In Castelnuovo Garfagnana, in the province of Lucca, he is an admiring bystander of the Feast of Cheese Throwing, then visits Lentini in the Caserta surroundings and Bevagna in Umbria and every time he finds himself sitting at a table with the local folks, while tasting the typical pasta dishes of the place, that “are excellent only if they are Barilla».
