Insights

A campaign of great appeal, it resorts to prestigious testimonial actors (Cindy Crawford, Alberto Tomba, and Zucchero) and each story is accompanied by the notes of famous songs inspired to the color blue, the symbol of Barilla and of its unmistakable boxes of Durum wheat pasta.

Abstract: In a bionic robotics laboratory of Northern Europe a few scientists are building a bionic man who looks like Alberto Tomba. They are studying his movements during competitions, but the robot is not capable to emulate them, and has a malfunction. At that point a female scientist has an idea, and seeing the Barilla logo on the hat of the athlete, she orders that a plate of pasta be cooked. As soon as the robot tastes the Fusilli pasta his eyes light up in blue and he becomes human…and slaps the female doctor on her behind.
