The campaign revolves around an idea already widely used in cinema and literature (for example in the movie Rashmon by Akira Kurosawa (1910-1998) or in the texts of Pirandello) – to have different protagonists narrate the same story from their point of view. In this case we see an adolescent boy bringing home his baseball coach for lunch without notice. A good plate of Barilla pasta will make all embarrassment vanish. The same logic is followed in the campaign for egg pasta, in which we see two young girls taking advantage of a day a restaurant is closed to organize a private party in which a handsome sailor takes part, and then he and one of the girls fall in love.

Abstract: Mrs. Rosa who runs her restaurant on the sea shore receives the “insistence” of two young friends who want to organize a private party taking advantage of her regular closing day. Worried because there is nothing to cook in the pantry, she changes her mind when the two friends find and prepare Tagliatelle Emiliane Barilla. The dish is a great success among all guests, including the handsome man who arrived by chance on a raft, and of which one of the girls is infatuated.
