The campaign revolves around an idea already widely used in cinema and literature (for example in the movie Rashmon by Akira Kurosawa (1910-1998) or in the texts of Pirandello) – to have different protagonists narrate the same story from their point of view. In this case we see an adolescent boy bringing home his baseball coach for lunch without notice. A good plate of Barilla pasta will make all embarrassment vanish. The same logic is followed in the campaign for egg pasta, in which we see two young girls taking advantage of a day a restaurant is closed to organize a private party in which a handsome sailor takes part, and then he and one of the girls fall in love.

Abstract: A young girl is home with her mother when her brother comes home bringing with him without notice his American baseball coach. The mother does not know what to do when the girl suggests cooking spaghetti following the recipes of the Pyramid. The success is assured, so much that the American guest enjoys two portions of pasta, but makes compliments and gives attentions to her mother rather than to her.
