A cult television campaign, it lasted seven years (and then was re-adapted and elaborated through time up until our days), in which an unforgettable music theme composed by Greek musician Vangelis (Evangelos Odyssey Papathanassiou, 1943-), arranged in different styles, accompanies the stories of families and affective relationships, in the total absence of dialogues except for the famous ending payoff line “Where there’s Barilla there’s home”, that makes the pasta the canter of family life and its symbol, as likewise of good tradition and of the best sentiments.

Abstract: A husband and wife at the airport are anxiously awaiting the landing of the plane from Phnom Penh, on which the girl that they have adopted is arriving. The little girl arrives accompanied by a hostess and is a bit confused. The parents, happily smiling, enter a taxi with the little girl and bring her home, where they find the grandmother and her new brothers to welcome them, The family sits around a set table, but the little Cambodian girl does not know how to use a fork and the little brother teaches her to take a spaghetti strand and suck it in with her lips. She repeats the gesture immediately, and so the tension and embarrassment immediately vanish.
