Abstract: Starting with this series, the setting of Barilla commercials changes. The night gowns and sequins disappear and we find ourselves in a recording studio where Mina, together with the orchestra conductor Bruno Canfora and the author Antonio Amurri is rehearsing a few pieces taken from her recent repertoire (“E se domani” (and if tomorrow), “Se tornasse caso mai” (if he ever returned) ), and some classic Neapolitan songs (“Munasterio ’e Santa Chiara (Monastery of Saint Claire)”, “Dicitencello vuje” (tell her), “’Na sera ’e maggio” (an evening in May) ). At the end of each song, Mina is asked to make the definitive recording, but it is late and she is tired and she says that she prefers to dine: «Come to my house. I will cook some spaghetti…Barilla’s, of course! ». The scene moves to Mina’s house who explains how to cook Barilla Spaghetti, that take only seven minutes to cook and stay al dente. Mina suggests cooking them with tomatoes and Parmesan Cheese. In the end the speaker’s voice is heard, and he declares that: «Barilla Pasta never fails you; it is all made of Durum Wheat. Barilla Pasta».
