LUCIANO BONACINI – Illustrator

(Verona, 1908 – Milan, 1981)

Luciano Bonacini was born in Verona in 1908 and was an advertising illustrator. At the beginning of his career he was particularly attracted by the Futurists and by the style of Leonetto Cappiello, whose lively graphic example he also followed in the calendars created for Barilla in 1934 and 1935, both printed – as was much of his production – by the Gros Monti Typography of Turin. Bonacini died in Milan in 1981.
